Dedication of MLK Postponed – Thanks Irene

This breaking news just released by the Associated Press (AP) — The dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial on the National Mall in Washington has been postponed indefinitely as Hurricane Irene bears down on the East Coast.

Some accounts report that the dedication will be moved to Sunday afternoon or possibly even to Monday. As of yet there has not been any official makeup date. Please check back periodically as updates will be posted as more information is gathered.
